You can totally enjoy this shake pool side on your day off. What’s even better is enjoying some with friends! Make a whole bunch and put in plastic shake glasses with bendy straws and umbrellas. Make sure not to get any in the pool, but if you do, you know who to call 😉
Yesterday, my husband and I tried making our own Wendy’s Frosty Shake. Couple of things I will change next time ’round:
- No almond milk…instead use regular milk (it was too watery for us with the almond milk)
- I used a half of frozen banana and about 9 ice cubes (yes, I counted)…it ended up being really icy…maybe more blending? Or just less ice would do.
- I piled in two “tablespoons” of cocoa powder (I hardly ever measure exactly…tablespoons and teaspoons=big spoon and little spoon for me) …I had to add about a teaspoon or so of sugar to make it a little sweeter. The cocoa is not sweet…I would probably add a little less cocoa and keep the teaspoon of sugar.
