Picked our first pumpkins today…lovely pumpkin patch in the area…so much fun to support small business! Much better than buying at big name stores.
Just like getting your pool cleaned at big name companies; much less personal (sometimes) and much less laid back! I think that is a nice fat positive to owning your own business…professionalism is always necessary, but once you get to know a client you can be as laid back as you want to with them. People aren’t worried about being home when you come over to clean their pool. We like to talk to our customers, get to know them and build a relationship with them. So invite us to your next party! haha…okay maybe not…but you get my point…right? Personal is better. I like it when my bank lady knows me by name and my cashier at my local mom and pop shop knows my kids’ names and what they are up to. It’s fun that you can find that small town feel in a big city like Dallas. It takes companies like us, family owned and run, to make a big city feel like a small town.
